This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use on the website https://docujet.it and how you can manage them. For the processing of personal data, please see the Privacy notice.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device to make it work, remember preferences, collect usage statistics or personalise content. Other technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage and web beacons are equivalent to cookies, and in this policy we treat them in the same way.
2. Categories of cookies
We distinguish three categories, in line with the 2021 Guidelines of the Garante (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian data protection authority):
- Strictly necessary: essential for the website to work (session, security, technical preferences). They are exempt from prior consent under Art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Italian Privacy Code).
- Statistics: measure the use of the website in aggregate form in order to improve it. They require your consent, unless they are configured to be "anonymous" according to the Garante's criteria.
- Marketing: profile your interests in order to show you targeted advertising. They always require your explicit consent.
3. Current status
As at 28 September 2026, in addition to strictly necessary cookies, the website may use the cookies listed in section 4 in the statistics and marketing categories. None of them is activated before your consent: until you give it, the scripts that set them are not even loaded. That is why the banner appears on your first visit.
First-party statistics, without cookies. We measure how many people visit the public pages of the website with Umami, a statistics program installed on one of our own servers: the data do not leave our infrastructure and are not passed on to third parties. It does not set cookies and does not store anything on your device. It collects the page visited, the website you came from, the browser language, the screen resolution, the device type and the country, in aggregate form and without data that identify you. Under the conditions set out in the Garante's Guidelines of 10 June 2021, first-party measurement tools that do not combine data across different websites are treated as technical cookies and do not require consent; you can nevertheless object by enabling the Do Not Track signal in your browser, which we respect. Private pages are not measured: the workspace, documents, public forms and signing pages are excluded from measurement.

5. How to manage your preferences
You can change your preferences on statistics and marketing cookies at any time using the button below. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before.
6. Managing cookies from your browser
You can disable cookies directly from your browser. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may, however, impair the functioning of the website (e.g. being unable to stay logged in). Quick instructions:
- Chrome: support.google.com/chrome
- Firefox: support.mozilla.org
- Safari: support.apple.com
- Edge: support.microsoft.com
7. Transfers outside the EU and third-party providers
The cookies currently in use are exclusively first-party: they are set and read by DOCUJET's servers, within the European Economic Area. We do not use third-party cookies that involve transfers outside the EU.
8. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy in the event of new features (e.g. activation of analytics) or regulatory changes. The date at the top indicates the latest update. Changes that require your consent will be presented to you through the banner.
